Polo Ralph Lauren “Colorwaves” Campaign: A Celebration of Passion and Authenticity
For the launch of Polo Ralph Lauren’s new “Colorwaves” collection, my creative vision centered on amplifying diversity and depth in storytelling. Rather than focusing solely on aesthetics, we sought to highlight individuals who embody Polo’s spirit of self-expression through their unique talents and dedication. To bring this vision to life, we cast three inspiring individuals who seamlessly blend style with substance: Alexis Chapparo, a champion boxer; Sam Mallos, a semi-pro surfer and surfboard craftsman; and Seth Hill, a multifaceted musician and music producer.
Each of these talents was shot in settings that reflected their passions, allowing their energy and commitment to shine as naturally as the colors of the new collection. From Alexis's intense focus in the boxing ring to Sam’s fluid movements on the surf and Seth’s creative immersion in his studio, each backdrop complemented the Colorwaves collection, demonstrating its versatility and ability to merge seamlessly with active, artistic lifestyles. To further enhance authenticity, we conducted in-depth interviews, giving each individual the platform to share insights about their journeys, motivations, and aspirations. This added layer of storytelling connected the collection to a spirit of purpose and individuality.
Multi-Channel Reach: Bringing the Story to a Global Audience
This campaign was more than a fashion shoot, it was a movement that redefined how Polo Ralph Lauren connects with its audience. The assets were strategically deployed across digital banners, outdoor advertisements, and in-store displays, immersing viewers in a story that felt both aspirational and relatable. Additionally, the profiles were featured in prominent publications like Men’s Journal, Surfer Magazine, and Snowboarder, reaching a wide audience passionate about adventure, craftsmanship, and artistry.
The Polo Ralph Lauren “Colorwaves” campaign achieved more than introducing a new collection. It reinforced the brand’s commitment to honoring the passions that drive each individual, transforming clothing into a medium for storytelling and self-expression.
